Visitor Information
Visitors are welcome to look around Stone House and talk to us without any obligation. Introductory visits are a necessity for prospective Residents. We place a special emphasis on the welfare and happiness of the Residents in a comfortable and safe environment, and encourage them to pursue their hobbies, activities and other interests, both indoor and outdoor. We believe that it is of the utmost importance to encourage independence, and that each Resident is treated as an individual.
Visitors will be made welcome at all reasonable times. Please ensure that a member of staff are aware of your visits by signing the "Visitors Book" For safety reasons, staff must be informed when a Resident is taken out by Family or visiting friends. Visitors may dine with Residents. A variety of good, fresh food is always available, along with fresh fruit. Residents can help themselves to the fresh fruit and food in the refrigerated cabinet in the dining area, and a variety of cordial drinks as required.
Stone House is registered with local G. P. practices and their staff visit on a regular basis. District nurses also visit as and when necessary. Dental, optical, chiropody and other services can also be arranged, any charges to be paid by the Resident.
